I am trying to engrave a logo on a 3x5 size .03 (I think) stainless steel. I have lowered the power, and upped the speed, but it is still warping. How can I lock this sheet down to keep it from warping? Any ideas???

Thanks!

Hi Tracy same thing happened to me with credit card holders. In the end I got a wet sponge and put it behind the workpiece. Cooled it sufficiently to avoid the distortion, might work for you.

I gotcha, are you saying to put the wet spongs under the SS while the job is running? I can just tape everything down??? I'm running one more round, no sponges today, I'll go get one and try that!

That's what I did and it worked fine
