Good evening

I want to add programmable thermostats to a zoned furnace setup. It uses a Tol-A-Temp zoning system, pictured below. I purchased Ritetemp 6035 touch screen thermostats from Home Depot to replace the dial type units throughout the house. I reviewed the installation instructions, but cannot find a matching wire scheme. There are three wires on the back of the old thermostat, red, white, and blue. The new thermostat has approximately 12 terminals and I am not sure which I should use. The furnace is made by Thermoflo

I'd go to Honeywell and ask for a tech sheet.

It appears that the Blue wire is actually green and most likely it doesn't do anything between the thermostats and the control box. If you take the cover off the thermostat there will be a mercury switch with a wire out each end. It turns the system on and off. The Blue wire will most likely not be connected.

My guess for the zones, the blue wire is probably connected to close the damper. The red wire opens it and the white wire is the neutral. Have you taken the cover off the main panel. Most likely there is a wiring diagram inside the cover. Figuring out the operation should be pretty easy with a volt meter. It appears to be a 24 volt system so working on it should be pretty safe.
