A friend of mine asked me to make two sets of darts for his son's birthday. Turned the darts and made the box on my Carvewright.

Hi Nathan; I have recently started turning pens, and am quite taken with your darts.

Would you mind telling me where the dart kits come from.

The dart kits came from Woodcraft.

Very nice set and the box makes it a treasure. Do you have to balance those darts somehow?

HI Nathan; what type of wood wa used for this set? Is it bloodwood and ebony or blackwood?

The darts can be weighted. Each kit comes with Lead Wool (like steel wool, but made from lead). This is packed inside to get the weights identical and to your likeing.

The black darts are blackwood. The others, I'm not sure, I had a few pieces from a hardwork pack.

Heirloom quality work. It'll be treasured. :)

Mack,

If I remember right Penn State Industries (PSI) also carries the dart kits.
