Need help attaching a thread

When you are either starting a new thread or replying to an existing thread, how do you attach and refer to a previosly posted thread?

I don't know if i'm asking that right. I

Matt,

Right click on the title of the thread you are referring to. Select "Copy shortcut". Either start a new thread or post in an existing thread and then right click where you want the link to the other thread and select "Paste"
