Does anyone know a source for aluminum faced plywood? You see it used in small carrying cases for camera equipment etc. I've serched on the web but I amy have the terminology wrong.

Thanks

Try a google search for "Lusterboard"

Hope you find what you're after.

That is a very interesting product. Thank you. But what I am looking for has a more pebbled finish and usually is a raw aluminum fnish.

The aluminum may be applied after assembly. It would be fairly easy to do and you could use a flush trim bit to make the aluminum flush to the edges of the ply.
I would think you could find the sheet aluminum here....

You can buy high-pressure laminate (aka formica) with an aluminum surface. You can get it with a variety of sheens and colors. You could bond it to ordinary plywood and have your aluminum-faced plywood.

Don't know where you are located, but I think this site has what you want.

If you are needing something heavy duty (3/4"), a semi trailer repair shop may have something.
