Any suggestions for a 9 or 10 inch undermount drawer glide? Can a longer one be cut down?

Thanks for your help.

Rob's got one kind covered. There's another kind of undermount slide -- the Blum Tandem, and all its competitors. Blum doesn't make them that short, but KV and others do. http://wwhardware.com/catalog.cfm/GroupID/Cabinet%20Drawer%20Slides/CatID/Drawer%20Slides%2C%20KV%20In-Line%209400%20Undermount/showprod/1

And no, these slides cannot be cut down.

I believe Blum just came out with a 9" Tandem with soft close, Woodworkers Supply has 9" listed. I just finished a kitchen using 21" and 18" Tandems with 5/8" maple boxes. Costumer was really impressed with the soft close.
