Anyone used the Bosch Colt to Scribe?

I'm going to be putting together some built in shelving and will need to scribe the face frame to the wall. Am looking at the Bosch Colt with the offset base to do that. Am also looking at the Quickscribe (see: http://www.thescribingtool.com/) What I'm wondering is if I buy the offset base for the Bosch Colt, will that more or less accomplish the function of the Quickscribe?

Any comments from people who have had experience using the Colt in its offset base to scribe would be helpful.
