I want to make a couple of shop pencils out of acrylic.
The one that woodcraft offers is too fat, nearly a 1/4" lead thickness.
Where can I find a kit similar to the old drafting pencils I used in high school many years ago, in thickness (~1/8").
Thanks!

Fred,
I mader the sketch pencil and use it in my shop all the time. If you feel it's too big, and you have a creative streak in you, Rockler sells a mechanical pencil that uses a lead 2.0 mm thick. It's not a kit, but it does not look like it would be difficult to adapt to a wood or acrylic blank.
Thanks,
Dan

Just go to pennstateind.com and look at the pen kits. You will see the power pro kits.
