I don't get as much time on the lathe as I want to but I am sure thats the way it is with a lot of us. In the time I get I am just trying to put out something that looks half way decent. Every now and again I surprise myself with a bowl like this one. Or maybe I should say it looks good to me. It has several layers of Minwax Formbys Tung oil. I do not have a buffer set up yet but hope to in the near future. 5 1/4 round X 2 1/2 high Walnut. Less than 1/8 thick with the bottem being a little over 1/8. Sorry about the pictures, took them on top of the garbage can.
Thanks for looking

Dennis - that's a really nice looking bowl! Great job on keeping the wall thickness so thin!

Pretty bowl and great job on the thinning it out. (My Achilles heel.)

Nice bowl - I really like working with walnut. A buddy at work has a walnut tree to take down and he has promised me some of the wood - can't wait!
