Flat Top #18. Red Mallee Burl although not much red and the top isn't perfectly flat. 4-5/8" dia. x 7" tall. Ebony finial and lid. Antique oil finish and buffed. Thanks for looking and all comments/critiques welcome.

Man, that's the best one yet! That's the best example I've seen of a beautiful form that shows of all the features of a beautiful burl.

That's a beauty Keith! The top on that reminds me of meringue on a pie! You sure have the finials down to a science.

Absolutely wonderful Keith! Beautiful wood, form and photo! I am in awe that you can continually create variations to the flat top theme! I agree with Curt - this is the best one so far - it displays everything you would want in a hollow form! Extremely nice work!

I don't think you're going to get much constructive criticism on this one, Keith. I hope you can take the accolades. Gorgeous!

How beautiful this one is. You did a number on this one, I can't see where the lid and bottom fit, great job.

Wow, thats a great piece. I really like the style of it, the contrast of the refined shape of the finial against the gnarly burl spikes really works for me.

I like the form. If it has a lid could I see it apart?

I like this. I like the way the finial just emerges from the burl and I like the simplicity of the finial. It doesn't complete with the burl at all.
