In my never ending quest for a compact 12" jointer that's not a combo unit, I came across these two.

I've seen some Lobo bandsaws, but I always thought it was small stuff. Never heard of Kufo. Are the just another Taiwanese company? The form factor on both 12" jointers looks the same. Interesting, eh?

One of my favorite machinery places (Tried and True Tools, Fridley MN) has been carrying KUFO for awhile. I believe that their parent makes tools for others. The products seems pretty good for what they are.

About 20 years ago I bought a KUFO 2 hp dust collecter and when I unpacked it was a jet unit and the bags had jet logos on them , so they do make things for other venders. I figured it was coming down the line right when they were switching what brand they were making.

I have a 5 year old KUFO DC that is as good as any.
Only problem is that now I want to sell it, having bought a cyclone, but no one has ever heard of Kufo.
