View Full Version : Powermatic 87 flex air line

I saved a Powermatic model 87 bandsaw from the metal dumpster at my former job (obvious gloat :)). I'm trying to find a flexible airline to replace the original for the optional chip blower. It's Powermatic part number 8718 is 24" long and has roughly 3/8" in diameter male brass end with 32 treads per inch that screws into the frame.

It's no longer available on the Powermatic site. A part number search came up empty there.

The closest thing I can find is a scroll saw flex hose at http://www.pswood.com/product.php?productid=848&cat=18&page=1 but it's only 7" in length. I could get by with it being a little shorter but this ones just too short.

Hopefully some good Samaritan will see this and let me know where to find the perfect fit for my saw. :)

Excuse my ignorance but what is WMH? I never could remember acronyms even when I hear them everyday I still forget what they mean. :o

Have you checked the McMaster Carr web site? They have a lot of hoses, though I've never been hosed by them. Oh, that's a bad pun. Sorry.:eek:

I'll call them Monday. One of them should have what I need.
