I have a big stack of KD Black Cherry 2.75" sq X 20 22" long. Thought I might be able to sell some Executive type desk name plates. Cutting a 2.25" chamfer on the face gave me a little over 3" engraving area X the length. This one is 19" long. I lacquered and taped prior to engraving, and lacquered again when finished. I did another the same size with a real nice rose at each end, and did the text in heavy brush script and in-laid Black Walnut into the text. It was nice but I forgot to get pics. (I also engraved several clowns on the reverse to add a little levity.)

Very nice, I'm sure you'll have no trouble selling them.

How about:
"Cower before me, unworthy mortal"
and
"(NAME)"(large)
"I'm f------ important, me" (small)
and
"Ah, Mr Bond, I've been expecting you"
