Adding reversing to Vicmarc VL 100

Has anyone out there added reverse to their Vicmarc VL 100 lathe, with the supplied Scorpion motor?
It's a bit different than any other motor that I have added reverse to.

Jerry, I have a VL100 that I have reversed, but it isn't that supplied motor. I just reversed a 1/2 hp motor that I put on my lathe.
Can you see the motor data plate? It should say so, if the motor can be reversed. If it's just a matter of switching a couple of wires inside it's junction box, a double-pole, double-throw switch will do the trick.
