One More Vase

This is another pine vase I turned wet. Also 11" high and approx 3" diameter opening. Was hollowed to very thin walls throughout the vase. I was always under the impression that you can't turn pine and do a good job. Wrong. It turns fine with sharp tools and safe fast speed. Goes to show you, can't believe everything you hear. Mitch

Great job Mitchell on a good looking vase. As I said in the other post no more pine for me. I tried some Austrian pine and Colorado Blue Spruce. Lots of pitch cleanup.

Thanks Bernie. I know what you mean about pine being messy to turn but I don't mind it too much. I usually turn to pine when I have no other wet wood to turn. Mitch
