Here's a try to see what happens. They dont look real bad on the screen here other than the poor lighting. If this is workable I'm happy if not, Yall may just have to come by here and look at the rest of these bowls LOL. I'm sure I'll get the hang of it. But that point and shoot is a bunch of bull. :) OK the bowl is spalted maple 9-7/8" x 4" soaked in dawn and water and she's a warp free. Turned 12-06. mylands sanding sealer. 2 coats. friction on the inside and beal buff on the outside.

Very nice David, great looking bowl. Love the finish, really shows off the spalting.

Good looking bowl David! Love the markings in the wood! I like the rolled lip - goes well with the round form! Nice work!

Nice David. I like the rim bead, and the spalting gives the bowl loads of character.

spend some money on good lighting.

maybe an ezcube (sold on Ebay) or the like

get 2 lamps at 6500k and you will be setup.

ho...and don;t forget to turn off the flash of your camera and overexpose by 1/3 to 2/3 stop.

No need to spend a lot of money on lighting and such
over at WoW there is information on the frugal photo set up ...if your interested PM me and I can give or send you the link...you will be taking professional photos with minimum cash outlay...BTW nice looking bowl...great wood...nice form... you did good

Very nice bowl for sure ! Great curve and the beaded lip is perfect.
