I saw Glenn Huey (popular woodworking video)make tapered legs a jointer, does anyone know if it is possible to do this on a router table. They would of course be a bit skinnier (1 1/2" sq)and the set up would be different. Is this possible? I would like to build a cabinet with tapered legs M/T to the apron and this looks like a quick and clean way of shaping the legs.

You need to be able to joint on your router table, with either a shimmed or similarly adjusted outfeed fence, but you should be able to taper with it. You need to mark where your taper will start, on all 4 sides, so you can see your lines, then advance the workpiece onto your outfeed fence. Repeat as needed.

Yes you could do them on a jointer or R/T with the proper setups and stops, but since you say you're new why not start with something simple like this taper jig. Put your marks on one leg piece; line one up with the jig edge and cut all 4 leg tapers. Line up your next mark, cut all 4, etc.
