I have acquired a used 16-32 sander, but I don't like the steel stand for it (too high for one, too large a footprint for another, too much wasted space is strike three). So I thought I'd build a cabinet for it.

Instead of reinventing the wheel, I figured I'd take a look at a book that has wood shop furniture designs.

Any favorites for stuff like this? I guess I'm looking for practical (easy to build, not to spendy for materials, and practical) design suggestions.

I've built several things out of "Smart Workshop Solutions" by Paul Anthony. They are extremely functional, but not sure I would call them 'furniture'.

I just recently purchased a 7 volume set of Shop Notes. I think they have an issue within the last few years with a plan in it. I also think you could order just the issue you want. that would be cheaper than an entire book.
