I found this (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000NXHTRG/ref=s9subs_c4_img1-2871_g1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=1N0T0SWQXDYWVM2EMPCX&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=278240301&pf_rd_i=507846) on Amazon. Any thoughts about this blade? Looks like a pretty good deal.

Hi Larry - Denali appears to be Amazon's house brand. I know little to nothing about their blades, except that they're made in China. $50 isn't a trivial amount to me, and it's also enough to buy a known good quality brand name blade, so I see little gained by taking the risk and skipping over the known heavy weights. Amazon offers several Freud blades (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_hi?url=search-alias%3Dtools&field-keywords=freud+12+blade&x=15&y=25) in that price range that are very well proven. Holbren has several Oshlun (http://www.holbren.com/home.php?cat=673) and Amana (http://www.holbren.com/home.php?cat=655) blades in that range too. ("SMC10" discount code for 10%)

Mike Jackson still has a few Leitz/Delta Industrial blades made in Germany. The quality is quite high and the value is pretty amazing. Here's his 12" example:
Delta 12" 35-654 80 tooth, ATB ,1" bore, neg 6 degree hook,.125 kerf, $25 (http://www.forums.woodnet.net/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=UBB4&Number=3667849&Forum=f4&Words=&Searchpage=0&Limit=25&Main=3664883&Search=true&where=bodysub&Name=33376&daterange=1&newerval=1&newertype=m&olderval=&oldertype=&bodyprev=#Post3667849)

Wow, those are some amazing deals from Holbren! Especially on the dado sets. I am not really in the market for new blades, I just saw the deal on the Denali brand and was wondering about their quality. I have also never heard of the Oshlun brand, but I have heard of the amana brand. Does anyone have experience with these brands?

BTW That link to the Woodnet is going to be removed soon. (TOS violation. I know this from experience!)

Oshlun was formerly known as Avenger...not a premium line but surprisingly good value for those prices...C-4 carbide, well made, good performance. The Amana blades are German made and have a good reputation but I haven't tried one...AFAIK, the A.G.E. line is their value line.

Re: Mike's link...oh well. If that's the worst thing that happens today, it's a good day! :D
