Here is a box I made for a guy back in OHIO who did something very nice for me. A bit of payback.

He's a HUGE College football fan, and you can guess for which team.

The box is maple with the inlays being bloodwood and ebony.

Comments are welcomed. (except from Michigan fans!)

Very nice. I consider myself as a box maker. Maple is one of my favorite combinations with bloodwood. Oh, and I like Ohio as well.

Very nice box, Mark. I really like the arched top as well as the inlay - colors compliment very well. (I also like the wood it's sitting on.) :)

I have a feeling your freind will treat that as one of his treasures. That pretty much sums up the design and execution. I think Jim summed up the fact that even though the school is "wrong".. the colors are almost right!

How bout dem dawgs... :)

Outstanding, Mark! (Despite being for the 'wrong' school...LOL)

I'll second that.....however not for the same reason as Mr. Becker. Penn State is the 11th Big Ten Team, remember.

By the way.....that is a really beautiful box. Well done!!!!
