It seems Laserbits no longer lists laser tiles on their website. Can someone please recommend another good source? (I tried Google and only found places that sell already-engraved tile.)

You mean someone besides www.lasertile.com (http://www.lasertile.com)? :p

(Although I have absolutely no idea what the shipping to Fiji would be like.)

I don't recall laserbits selling lasertile. Maybe I'm wrong. If you're talking marble, go to lasersketch.com

(Although I have absolutely no idea what the shipping to Fiji would be like.)Hmmm, I looked there but I guess you have to become a "dealer" to get unmarked tile? If you go to the dealer page it says, "If you are interested in purchasing 3Score's products already lasered, these dealers can help you."

And you GUESS what the shipping charges will be, HUGE!! :(
(Worse is that their sign up page seems to be US only.)

Can't hurt to fill in the form: worst they can do is tell you they're US-only, but I don't see anything that says that. Or just call them and ask: http://www.lasertile.com/contact.html

I just bought a box of 8" and a single piece of art. It will be here Tuesday. I saw the changes in the website. No problems or mentions of dealers only while I was on the phone. First rate service like always.

I bought a case of their 6x6 granite tiles from the website about a month and a half ago. Quality was really poor. They took 12x12 beveled edge granite tiles and cut them in half. The 6x6 tiles had 2 beveled edges, polished and 2 chipped and unleveled edges. Really bad. I called and told them about it, they sent me another case of tiles. Sounded good. The second box was worse than the first. Tiles were not cut all the way through and 2 of the edges were jagged. Called again, told them no more. The web site stated hand picked for quality. Not the case. I really did not see a difference between Laser Tiles, and Borg granite for the money.

I really did not see a difference between Laser Tiles, and Borg granite for the money.Good to know: I was wondering about the edge treatment on their smaller granite pieces, since I already have a tilesaw. The only thing they have in granite that the Borg doesn't is 18"x18" tiles, which wouldn't fit in my machine anyway.

But I've been pretty pleased with their regular stuff, including the 'seconds' I got on sale awhile back. Anybody tried the 'laserglass' yet?

I've had very mixed results from lasersketch; I swear some of the marble they sold me was granite. It was very speckled and I had to use much higher/harder settings than I'm used to. It's a little pricey but I've always had consistent results from Vytek http://www.graniteart.com (http://www.graniteart.com/).

We do a lot of photos and their marble (imho) is the most consistent. I just do the normal settings, press start and walk away. With lasersketch I'm also fretting and watching it engrave, results vary from piece to piece.

Plus Vytek marble is polished on both sides, and since I put everything into a custom wood frame it allows me an 'oops' since I can flip it over and try again.
