Here are some poor quality photos of my first segmented project. It is Cherry and Walnut. The nice thing about segmenting is that you can make stuff from scrap. What do you think?

Steve - the cherry and walnut colors sure work well together! I haven't done any segmented turning yet, so you are ahead of me there - but have to say all of your joinery looks great! All the pieces are staggered so you shouldn't have any separation problems down the road and it looks like a very nice finish!

Nice work Steve! Looking forward to your next one!

Pretty cool, I like the general design and layout of the walnut. I think you will find that you will be " looking" for more scraps and start saving em for future projects. Keep up the nice work Steve !!!

Great looking piece. I like the cherry/walnut combo. Nice first piece.
