I just picked up a barely used Jet Floor model oscillating spindle sander. I was an idiot and laid it flat to get it to my house and oil leaked out. Nothing major, added some oil per manual and thought that everything was fine. Well, I'm still leaving a pool of oil wherever I put it. After really cleaning up all the oil it appears that the bubble that reads the oil level is actually leaking. Has anyone else ever had this problem? I can take pictures if necessary.

I am guessing that unless you cracked the bubble or dislodged it's seal that you are just seeing oil slowly flow down the sides from where it collected while it was laying on it's side.

I thought that for several days until today when I cleaned everything up really well. It is still draining very very slowly from the bottom of the bubble. I've pushed on the bubble and it feels rock solid with no play. There is no oil above the bubble. Completely dry now.

Call WMH and ask a tech if they have seen this before.
