Looks "Great" to me.

From here it looks allot like the PM3520b, makes you wonder how much difference there really is?

must be real close on the price then.

wonder if it just comes down to a choice of color?

Have to stick with my 50 year old delta for now.

thx for the info.

nope price is very differen on my side of the pond... standard price without any kind of discount is 35000 dkk. around 7400$!!!!!! i dident pay that hehe i never pay full price for anything.. the lathe was around 24000 dkk around 5000 $ and i saved around 35% on the entire thing lathe bandsaw and disksander.. But turning eq. is very expensive in denmark...

The biggest difference between that largest lathe that Jet makes and the Powerematic 3520B is the size they can turn. The biggest jet can handle a 16 inch blank while the 3520B can handle a 20 inch blank.

Congrats on the new lathe. It now appears that you may have to clean out the other power tools in your shop to make room for the lathe.

CONGRATS looks Perdy in White too!

I believe that some of the Accessories are Standard items for the JET.

The second switch looks to be wired in and ready to use.
I read some specs quite awhile back on it,

Very nice new toy, Rasmus. Now you have to change the signature at the end of your posts. You have the lathe now; does it work??
Looking forward to seeing new turnings. I feel your pain about the size of your shop. I have a tiny space too.

kudos on your recent purchase. A lathe just isnt a lathe until it is dirty [covered with shavings] Max

Rasmus,
Congrats!!! I'll bet you are already in love with that sweeeet sweeeet machine. Here's to many years of happy turning...!

Ron,
You are mssing the point. This is a PM3520B in Jet paint made for the Euro market. It can turn a full 20" chunk of wood just the same and is not the Jet 16" sibling as you suggest. Did you notice the "Powermatic" logo on the tray liner above the headstock?

Very nice lathe . . .

Will you put it on wheels or will it be stationary?

Wish you many happy turning hours . . .

The wife and I have each a JET MINI VS . . . So far we have made some square wood round . . . Putting together pen order today . . .

Take care,
Steve:)

Nice signature. I like the lathe in white. Personally, I don't know why powermatic ever changed from the regal green they used to have. Maybe they had to be different from General & Grizzly....

So when are you going wood hunting with the Great White?? Need pics of your first "kill"....
