I've been fortunate to get two trading partners. Got my first one over the weekend from Joe Melton. It is a two tone wood, but I don't know what it is? He was also kind enough to send a blank of the same material.

The pen is really cool, it is a custom modification with no center band. Thanks Joe!

Here is the Pen I sent Joe, I'm thinking he should have it by now. Black Ti Euro, Mahogany with a Maple Wave.

I think I have turned my last pen. I'm wasting time and money.

Very, very nice by both parties!

I'm in Tejas on bidness right now, but look forward to seeing the pen Jon made. That is, if mia sposa hasn't claimed it!
Anyone need some mesquite? I saw about three cords stacked up today. Sad, but true. Mesquite isn't just for grillers anymore; now you can burn it for heat! Although the thought of anyone down here actually wanting their house any hotter is difficult to imagine.
Jon't gift pen from me was made from Pink Flame, wood I got from list member Jim King. Lovely wood to turn.
