I subscribe to (just about) every woodworking magazine. When I picked the July issue of AWW and got to page 50 (Woodworkers Showcase), I saw a piece and thought that looks like something Bill would do. Sure Enough, William Wyko; piece entitled "Monsoon".

Great to hear. Bill's flatwork and turnings are some of the neatest I've seen anywhere. He really deserves the publication.

...so Old Boy is famous now? Nice. He should use his celebrity status to plug SMC, hehehe.

Next time he submits something, he could say something like: "I built this with inspriration from my buddies at Sawmill Creek." :D

I didn't even know. I have to find a copy now. WOW this is awsome!! I can't believe it.:D:D:D:D:D:D:D Thanks everyone ,I owe many of my skills to the great members here!!! I wouldn't have known if you hadn't told me. WWOOOOHOOOO!!!!:D I sent them pictures about 6 or 7 months ago.

Today is a great day. My father has been in the hospital for over a month because of a spinal surgery and complications that happened afterwards. He got home today. My daughter is graduating with honors tonight too. Now this! God really shined on my day today. Thanks again to all of you. You're like family.:)BTW Lookin good Mr Becker (avatar):)

Bill...can you post some pictures of your work? This is the best part about SMC for me. I always enjoy looking a what folks are doing regardless of style, skill or size.

Thanks you guys. I haven't seen it yet. I'm sure it's a small pic in the corner somewhere but just for them to consider my is quite an honor. What a motivator to do more stuff. I've gor some neat thing I want to make in the future. Wish I had more spare time.:o
