:p Just received an email from Andrew. He finished my large tenon saw and it looks great. He said he was ecstatic of how it turned out and it cuts great.
The pics do not do justice to the etching and engraving Andrew said. Should have it this weekend.

Just beautiful, I like the detailing on the handle. (what sort of wood is that?), and the etching on the blade and brass just lifts the whole impression.

I can see this being handed down from generation to generation.

Very nice indeed. Please let us know if it works a good as it looks. Does any one else out there own one Andrew's saws? If so how do you like them?

Here is the particulars on the saw itself Andrew sent me...

15" long blade, 3 3/4" at the toe, and about 4" at the heel.
The teeth are 10 ppi, filed rip, with 8 degrees of rake over most of the blade.
I relaxed the rake just a tad for the first 2-3 inches at the toe in order to ease the start of cut.
The tote is walnut.
