Clam Chair?

I have seen an interesting chair, and have been trying to find plans for it. With the little research I did, I found it known as a "clam chair". If anyone has ideas or even plans on how to build one, please let me know.

The picture is of one that I saw in Belize, where they were commonly found.

never saw one before but look cool ...did you try it out??? was it comfortable????good luck with finding the work plan and making some...your friends will appreciate the work when they come over for a bbq....
