Hello all. I remember a ULS Rep showing me an engraving of the declaration of independence. Does anyone have this file or do you think it was retyped and a special font added ? Jim

I think you mean The Declaration of Independance and you could probably just copy it from here
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Declaration_of_Independence
and chose a fitting font - probably an old 1776 looking font.

I'm sure a number of parents out there are tired of hearing declarations from their independents!

You can buy a Declaration of Independence font. I wasn't able to find a free one.

You should be able to d/l a pretty decent scan of the original (or IMO the stone engraving of the original) from the National Archives. The stone engraving appears to be easier to work with

This one looks pretty good: http://www.theus50.com/images/declaration-of-independence.jpg
3923x4656 pixels...unless you're blowing it up to wall-sized, should be good to go.
