New woodturning club in Champaign IL

Looks like a go
First meeting went well
Elected officers, Approved By-Laws, Had 11 bring something for Show & Tell.
Keith Zimmerman demonstrated turning mini hollow forms.
22 in attendance, 21 signed on, I think the other one will soon.
Had calls when I got home from several others saying they would be there in June. Just received an entry by mail. He could not make it there.

Yesterday I sent the By-Laws to the AAW, hopefully we will get a charter soon.

We got our Charter From the AAW last month.And a few goodies.
We have had 2 meetings, another next week.
We have 25 members now, so things are going good.

Hope it Grows for you like ours has in the Quad cities.
The Iowa & Illinios Quady city club has really grown in the last couple of years. We had about 60 @ our June Meeting.
Were about 2 to 3 weeks from moving to a New Building in Rock Island IL. Can't wait!!!
