Hi everybody; my dad picked up a couple of wooden planes and gave them to me on my birthday. The one on top is a coving or shaping plane, and the one on the bottom? Well, is it a rabbeting plane? There are holes in the body for something, maybe a fence? Maybe depths stop? I don't know, can you help me identify it?

The bottom one is a rabbet plane somebody used for drill practice...those holes look too big for beetles.

The top one is a "round" from a "hollow and round" set used to make molding profiles.

…and here are the specialty heirloom planes too useful to replace…between the hollow and round set and the molding/beading plane, there are few antique cabinet moldings I can’t duplicate easily in small quantities.

Bob nice little tote for the H&R's I just keep mine on a shelf but if I had to carry them to a job site that would be handy.

Thanks Bob for the clarification on both planes, I appreciate it.
