Does anyone know where I can buy some 8-32 x 2" T Slot bolts. All the ones I've found so far have either a 1/4" or 5/16" thread. Thanks.

Have you called a fastenall store by chance? Or tried MCMaster Carr?

Mike - Thanks for the quick response. I just checked Fastenal and the smallest they seem to carry is 3/8". McMaster Carr doesn't carry anything smaller than 10-24. Maybe they don't make them in an 8-32 x 2" size. I also checked Grainger and couldn't find them there. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Could you make something that would work? I'm thinking drill and coutersink a small plate that a regular flathead machine bolt would screw into.???? It might need to have the plate material a bit thicker than a regular T-bolt just so the bolt head was embedded at the back, but if you cant find anything else and have to have that size thread....

If I'm not mistaken 8x32 is a "normal" electrical box sized bolt and cabinet drawer pull screws. Check out the electrical department at your local BORG to see if they have the length you need then grind or file off the sides of the heads to make them flat.

You might try Hartville Tool. I searched their web site but did not find them; could be my poor search skills. I'm at work so can't check in their catalog. I seem to remember other sizes, perhaps 8-32. I think they also had just the nuts so you could make your own length.

I checked all the vendors but could not find an 8-32 x 2" t slot bolt. I'm thinking that maybe they don't make them in that size. To solve the problem, I bought an 8-32 square head nut and snugged it up against the head of an 8-32 bolt. It seems to work just fine. Once again, thanks for all the responses.
