Is there a way to increase the precision in Corel (X4 in my case) to a a level greater than .0X?

I need to have 3 decimal places to do some measuring layout to .001 of an inch.

In the 'Tools' menu, select 'Options'. It's under 'Workspace'->'Edit' as 'Drawing Precision'. I usually set it to '4' so I can split the 0.005 dot size.

(That's in X4. Seems like I had to root around for it when I installed X4, dunno if that's because it moved or I just couldn't remember where it was.)

Thanks lee - that'll let me do what I need to.

Do you know if there's a way to get that decimal precision for nudge? It's still at .01 as the smallest increment available. I'd like to set it at .0625, but it keeps rounding up.

But you can set the nudge value to 0.625 and that makes the "micro-nudge" value 0.0625. Or use 0.25 as nudge with a micro-nudge divisor of 4.

Or (thinking outside the box) set the nudge units to 'points', with a value of 4.5.

Good thinking - I'll give it a try.
