After helping Brian Weick with his Excel problem I figured I would post this...

Here is a "program" I created for poker tournaments, when trying determine how many chips to buy of each denomination.

You input the amount of players and the buy in amount, the speadsheet calculates the amount of each cheap to be administered to each player, amount of chips of each denomination you need to have and the total on out in play.

Keep in mind I'm no high roller so in order to get a game of Nickel -Dime - Quarter game going...I foresee purchasing actual Dollar denomination chips and using a conversion. Simply move the decimals... and you can play nickel-dime-quarter, or high stakes $5 -$10-$25 with the same chips...
$0.05 real money = $5.00 chip
$0.10 real money = $10.00 chip
$0.25 real money = $25.00 chip

The forumals are ridiculous as the sheet will optimize the use of chips in play by changing from (2) $5 chips to (1) $10 chip incrementally...

THe things you do when you are bored....
