Hi Its Chris again, just would like to hear some feed back from any Wadkin owners that have used there saws and shapers, what to be aware of, if anything, like accuracy on cutting, spindle wobble, maintenace, etc.
I have posted once before on my Wadkin AGS-12 Saw and many nice people gave me insite on how to find or retro a fence and rails, to all those nice people I extend my sincere thanks. You all have a great day!:) Chris with Custom Millworks LLC, Sacramento, Ca.

Hi Steve, if you look at Brians Picture you will feast your eyes on a Wadkin... Old Iron horse is what the old timers called it, and Heavy metal is what the youngins called it, you pick you choose... I guess you really have to own one to know one... I am learning so much about the old school ways by using these machines it is amazing... thanks Chris.

So Brian is that your baby? Tell me why it is sitting on a pallet? Do you have the original fence and rails? How does it run for you, any problems with accurate cuts? Drifts? Thanks Chris.

I have two Wadkin machines. The K23 is late 90's & the BEM is 70's. Both are real workhorses.

Hi Chris. I'm new here and it's nice to see I'm not the only Wadkin AGS 12 owner.

Here is my Wadkin RZ 16'" jointer. Belonged to a pattern maker in Chicago who sold it to a woodworker in Des Moines several years ago who never set it up. I bought it recently after looking for this very model for several years.

I could not be happier.

Nice looking machine, John; did you repaint it?

How long are the tables?

It was repainted about 4 years ago. Tables are 6 feet. I prefer this length rather than 7-8 feet.
