June 20-22nd is the AAW is Richmond, Virginia. So who's going?

I wish I could go, but it's not in the cards for me. HIGHLY recommended learning experience as well as a chance to see some outstanding work and network with some of the best turners on the planet...very inspiring experience.

Brodie I am going. My son got me tickets for it for my birthday. So we rearranged our visit so I could go without making the extra trip. My Friday and Saturday are filled with going to a full day of demo's both days. Also will be going to Big Mike Stafford's box making get together Friday night. Going to have some good pro's there also. I probably won't have chance to do this in a while so I am making the most of it.

There will be a good contingent from Northwest PA and North Eastern Ohio, and the 2009 Symposium will be in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Yep, it was fun. Met David Ellsworth, watched great presentations on box making and hollowing forms. Nice vendor area with demo's ongoing there. Instant gallery had some very nice pieces on display. Pretty good hot dogs, too. I'll post some photos here in a day or two. Mike
