Not sure weather to post this here or in the "Off topic forum" so moderators feel free to move.

I recently moved to a new house. The house has a nice deck on the back made of pressure treated wood and a front porch made of the same.

I was wondering what you guys use for a preservative on your decks and what you have been most happy with. I would like to use something semi-transparent as I would like the wood grain to show through.

I have used a product in my last house called CWF-UV put out by the Flood company, which I was pretty happy with, but I would like to know if there are better alternatives, IE something that will last more tan 1 year.

Thanks.

SuperDeck lasts two to three years on redwood decks near Flagstaff, AZ (7000 feet with harsh winters):

Be careful what you put on PT wood. Lots of things are incompatible with it.
