Gloat or Not?

A notice was posted at the local grocery store with wood working items for sale and one of the items was a PC 690 series router. The package includes a fixed base, "D" base, and a plunge base with an edge guide as shown in the picture. The items are in great shape with no sign of ware.

Not really knowing the going prices on used equipment we settled on $125.00. Would this be considered a gloat or no gloat?

If it is a gloat then I can tell my wife :). If it is not then it’s our little secret :(. Thanks.

Rockler sells the PC 690 Combo with the fixed base and plunge base for $209. The edge base is another $50 Throw in the D Base ??? Sounds like you did just fine if you really wanted a new router

Yep, good score. Go ahead and tell the wife you saved $85 or so. But make sure you make something nice with it, or she won't believe that you actually saved anything. ;)
