Silver Maple

I have access to a bunch of Silver Maple. Is this a good looking and turning wood. Does anyone have somthing they turned out of silver maple that you can post so I can see ?

This is a small plate I made out of spalted silver maple. So yes, this is good wood. Plus, at crotches and the base of the trunk there is always figuring. Take as much as you can, because it will be great practice wood if nothing else.
