Black Walnut Bowl

It is a small black walnut bowl that is 8 3/4" wide by 3 1/2" tall by 5/16 thick. I sanded it to 600 grit and finished with olive oil. Thanks to my friend and father-in-law Kim Ford!

No it doesn't dry to a hard surface but just leaves a nice finish on the wood no too glossy but glossy enough. If you are going to use olive oil make sure that you use really good extra vergin olive oil

The design is very pleasing as is the wood. You have a winner with this one. I stopped using olive oil because I had one finished with it to go rancid.
