This is a tablesaw rip sled with a "loose" guide strip in lieu of one attached to the bottom. Since the bottom of the sled is flat, it runs flush on the top of infeed and outfeed rollers or tables without having to lower them or cut slots in them.
One of the grooves in the sled shown is superfluous as it was originally designed for use on a contractor saw and I had to modify it to fit a Sawstop. The modification included having the sled run on the right side of the blade rather than the left as originally designed.
