I have a Ridgid ROS that has a run-away problem
The part in the sander that is suppose to prevent this has been replaced twice, and problem is back.
Has anybody else had this problem and is there a fix, or am I doing something wrong.
My old PC 333 just keeps chugging along.

I don't have an answer for you but thought I'd just mention that I have 2 of those sanders with absolutely no problems. Russ

Rigid, Great paper weights. I have one of their sanders & it sits in the corner w/ all the rest of my reject equipt.
Their 10" TS isn't bad for the WW just starting out.

Ridgid, not Rigid. And their tools are pretty decent. A few years ago the ROS sander was a Metabo clone. Now I think they're Chinese imports, but generally good. It is possible to get a lemon with any brand.
