What's a woodworker to do? I was out spraying for weeds with my pull behind sprayer when I noticed that my right tire was flat and probably had been for some time. I took it off to repair it when of course on saturday evening with all the stores around here closed I couldn't find my tube repair kit. I tried something else but it didn't work. So I made a wheel out of two pieces of 3/4" ply. It worked so I could finish spraying for thistles etc.

Woodworker has a problem - Woodworker fixes it with wood of course.

Nice, Robert. I guess it is only a matter of time until you replace the other one with a wooden wheel too. I've never understood why some things are even offered with pneumatic tires.

OK here's the picture? The wheel worked well but I'll probably replace it with a new one.

No weeds allowed in Iowa. Especially Canadian and bull thistles.It's the law if you don't get rid of noxious weeds you could be fined. We have 2 1/2 acres and this year the thistles are trying to take over. Last year it was June bugs.

Well, there's the problem, you're towing it with an RV!

A mite-large turning radius, but I guess you'd have creature comforts. Hmmm.. Wonder if there's mowing attachments for my mini-Winnie?

If you can think it Winnibago can make it right here in Iowa. We actually saw our Motorhome being made at Forest City. It's interesting to see how they do it there and they have tours everyday. BTW we bought this motorhome brand new almost 20 years ago. It has served us well. In fact it was our only home for 4 years while we traveled north in the summer and south in the winter.

Ok, in that case, I want to order one with a 108" mowing deck, traction package with wheel weights, and a BBQ grill that hooks to the three-point hitch! Winter's about over, I'll wait to add the snowblower/blade package.

I've only seen it on TV, but watching what goes into making modern RV's is really fascinating. If you have a flat on the Winny, better use some 2" MDF discs for the spare!
