Couple years back there were lots of complaints about the Jet mini back under pressure when turning. A new underside washer was designed, by Keith, I believe, out of heavy stock and made rectangular. It worked like a charm. I recently had the problem with my Delta Midi-lathe and got my bro-in-law to make me a heavy duty washer out of nice thick steel. If anyone needs a nut/ washer to fix this problem in either of the mini/midi-lathes send me a PM and I will give you the email to the master machinist who will fix your problem!
