This is a cherry bowl that I made and decided to make with a small foot. It is not going to be very deep, so I thought a small foot would raise the bowl some. The bowl is 9.5" x 3" finished in home brew oil, then beall buffed tripoli and white diamond. For the was I used renaissance wax for the first time. Finger prints are no longer a problem! Thanks for looking comments/critiques welcome.

Different strokes for different folks. I like every thing about this one wood, finish and design, but the foot.

Hi.

Nive bowl, and I love the grain.

I love a bowl like this, but for my taste the foot could be a little bit higher... just to point out that the bowl has one... to stand on.

Cheers
Kaj

Nice finish and the grain is great but the foot is to small it should be either larger or no foot at all.

A general rule of thumb for a foot on a utility type bowl is 1/3 the diameter of the bowl. Nice work and nice wood.

I like it. Really nice form, and the foot isn't bad. But no matter what anybody says, if you like it, that's all that matters. Period. (.)
