Was working on this last night and chunked it. I think it is salvageable, but not sure exactly what I want to do with it?

I would finish the bowl and then take a pnuematic sander and work on the 2 blowout spots to blend them in with the rest of the bowl. It will be a very unique bowl.

Maybe you could turn off the foot and rim, and put on a nice segmented contrasting wood in both places?
