And some some on this new thread, interesting pewter and hollow form work by Simon Hope RPT Professional wood turner, he also make the bag pipes shown with African Blackwood and Pewter.

Unfortunately these pictures doesn't do justice to him, in real life these pieces are really stunning.

Must have been one great show! Beautiful work! The use of pewter for collars and finials is not something I have seen over here - very nice effect!
