Hey all. I plan on becoming a contributor as soon as I get done posting this (long overdue). I plan on putting some wood in the classifieds.

So here's the situation. I have a nice little wood pile. I generally don't care to do a lot of small turnings, and I think I have a lot of small pieces I will never use. How many of you all do small turnings like pens, stoppers, etc...? Is it worth taking pictures and posting these blanks or would I be wasting my time? Thanks.

Depends on the type of wood, and size.:)

It's always better to see a picture.

Well, tomorrow I will start to process and photograph the wood. I don't have a planer, just a bandsaw, so they may be a little rough. Also, if a piece has figuring I will try to hand plane it so this is visible.

Pen turners, I can tell you this right now: I have about 180 to 200 kiln dried cherry blanks. Also some white oak and hard maple. Tomorrow I will put the pics up in the classifieds.

You might post this in IAP (international Assoc of penturners)
