No one is yet manufactacturing ZCI's for these saws (and no, the PM2000 inserts don't fit).

However, if you pick up a piece Leecraft sheet phenolic (part number BK-1) you'll have enough to make two ZCI's. The sheets are just slightly longer than the original throat plate.

Also these were available last week from Amazon for about $16 a sheet, and two qualified for free shipping.

Steve, if you get the insert from Grizzly for their G1022/G1023 tablesaw it will also fit. It's 13 3/8 x 3 3/4. But for $24.95 each they are much more expensive than the $20 piece of phenolic that you can use to make two from.

Be well,

Doc

You may be thinking of the older XACTA saw, Don. The Deluxe (that has a riving knife) has a throat plate that measures 15 5/16" long (IIRC).

Steve, you're right. I have the older model, which is what I was quoting.

Be well,

A 2' x 4' piece of 1/2" MDF from the 'borg beats the phenolic cost wise and will provide a significant supply of ZCIs. Many folks also use 1/2" slick plastic cutting boards to make them. Outside of speed/immediacy, making these makes more sense than buying them, IMHO. Use the OEM as a template, rough them on the BS or with a jig saw and then pattern route them using the OEM again as a template. You can make a whole bunch of them very quickly this way. (And don't forget to make an anti-lift pin for the rear of the ZCI while you are at it...a 1/8" hole and a cut off finishing nail is all you need for that)
