hoping someone who can point me to a source for these. I have 4" flex hose that I want to split into two 2.5" hoses (i.e. at the router table for above and below table dust collection)
Can be metal, prefer plastic

do these even exist, or will I have to buy a 4x4x4 fitting and tack on some reducers? I'd like to avoid the reducers since I think a smooth bore wye would have less head losses

I haven't seen a 4 x 2.5 x 2.5 fitting, but I did buy a 4 x 4 x 2.5 from Woodcraft (Item # 144930) that might at least get you a little closer than a 4x4x4.

I know this is a lot of fittings, but a 4x4x2.5 with a 4" coupling and a 4x2.5 adapter.

thanks guys - I will grab the 4x4x2.5 and reducer. I think that will be a good solution

What about this? Looks like it is 2.5 x 2.5 x 2.5 best I can tell, and this might require one less fitting.

You could make a 4x2.5x2.5 by splitting two 4x2.5x4 and glueing them back together.

Here are some pics from the clearvue gallery how Marty did it to make a three-way 6" fitting.

all you would have to do is cap the center.
